We now are holding them in the Paddock at Phoenix Greyhound Park, 3801 E Washington. It is easiest to enter off 37th Street to avoid Park N Swap, park in the Valet or VIP lot in front of the track building. There is a large sliding gate on the South side of the wall (by the old trailer) Follow the signs and there should be someone at the gate. Again the fee is $5 per dog and a punch card is available when filled you get the sixth nail trim free. The time is 10-1 on Saturday 2/13/10. Only Greyhounds please and I hope to see you there. At the very least, one could be constructed inexpensively and quickly from PVC until a better one can be found. http://www.make-and-build-dog-stuff.com/homemade-dog-wheel-chair.html Depending upon where the wheelchair is needed, I might be able to help with construction. Along with PVC pipe for the frame, I would recommend tubular Nylon webbing for the sling and support. REI sells tubular webbing, which is softer than the flat stuff available at hardware store.
